Since LeadPages started a little over a year ago, we’ve experienced incredible growth, which has been absolutely great. However with an expanding business, we also need to expand our team.
We have many different job openings at LeadPages right now. At the time of this video, there are ten open positions including the director of templates and education. You could check out all the openings by going to the careers portion of our website. One that we really wanted to bring up here on the blog, in fact this is a first job post that we’ve made a video about and that’s the open position for a director of templates and education.
We’re really at an interesting place with LeadPages where we can provide even more value to LeadPages not only by expanding core features but also by creating new templates. A huge part of people’s experience with LeadPages has to do with the templates that are created. The director of templates and education will have a huge impact on this experience. Whoever is hired for the director of templates and education position will report directly to our CEO Clay Collins and will have two main priorities.
Number one is to set the vision for the new templates that are added to LeadPages. Some imagine is needed here to have a vision for things such as which categories need to be created, why should they be created, how should we be evolving the development of templates over time, what should be in the editor, what new features need to be developed around the templates and so on. This person is really going to set the tone around LeadPages templates. At LeadPages we generally add one to two templates per week and we want to accelerate that trend. In order to do that, this person will also need to recruit new developers outside of LeadPages who in exchange for pay will create new templates.
Priority number two for the director of templates and education will be to handle all education around the use of templates. So this person will have direct involvement with the public so they need to have experience appearing on podcasts, talking on stage, giving presentations and webinars about setting up funnels, conversion rate optimization, how to set up marketing campaigns and so on. It would help if this person is a proficient writer in order to write eBooks and educational material for our audience so he or she should be a current thought leader in some area of marketing or on conversion rate optimization and landing page design.
